As Director of Corporate Stewardship, Alison Kreher works closely with corporate donors to ensure meaningful partnership experiences with United to Learn.

A proud product of K-12 education, Alison has always been passionate about investing in public education. She spent her free time in high school serving as a student ambassador to the local school board where she learned alongside elected officials how to improve educational outcomes for students. She went on to Vanderbilt University, where she studied Human and Organizational Development with a concentration in Community Leadership and Development. After graduation, Alison joined the Dallas Teach For America corps and taught fourth-grade reading. During her three years as an educator, she led her students to achieve standardized test scores 32% above the district average and earned a Master of Education from Southern Methodist University. Alison later transitioned out of the classroom and onto the Teach For America recruitment team, in order to recruit young leaders across the southeast to join the movement for educational equity. She has a proven track record of building relationships across lines of difference and leveraging networks to achieve outcomes.

Outside of work, Alison is a volunteer leader for Young Life at Ursuline Academy and spends her free time reading, going on walks around the neighborhood, and planning her next trip. A fun fact about Alison is that she dreams of one day becoming a contestant on Survivor.
