Each school year, Dallas ISD teachers spend an average of $820* out of their own pockets to supplement classroom supplies. To fill this resource gap, we host Learning Launch, an annual initiative that ensures our teachers have the supplies and resources their classes need to succeed. Learning Launch provides supplies to each of our 75 campuses.

To fill this resource gap, we host Learning Launch, an annual initiative that ensures our teachers have the supplies and resources their classes need to succeed. Learning Launch provides supplies to each of our 49 campuses.

Calling all educators, liaisons, tutors, volunteers, investors, and advisors working together to support 49 U2L Schools! Join us and special guest Dr. Michael Hinojosa to celebrate the accomplishments of the year.

Retiring Dallas ISD Superintendent Dr. Hinojosa will share wisdom from the challenging years behind us and offer inspiring hope for Dallas ISD’s direction and vision. After remarks, we will network by role, learn from each other, and enjoy “in-person” company.

Please join us for our Fall Network Summit where you will hear from Dallas ISD deputy Superintendent, Susana Cordova.

Susana Cordova joined Dallas ISD in January of 2021 and brings more than 30 years of experience in education. She has served as superintendent of Denver Public schools. Additionally, Cordova has led significant improvements in student outcomes over the past five years, including an 8% increase in graduation rates and a 10% improvement in Latino/a student graduation rates.

Be a part of Learning Launch 2021, our 5th annual back-to-school drive that gets teachers the supplies they really need to accelerate student learning. Your gift will equip educators and students with teacher-requested learning supplies not provided within limited public-school budgets. Each school year, Dallas ISD teachers spend an average of $600 out of their own pockets to supplement classroom supplies. Learning Launch provides supplies to each of our 48 campuses, benefitting 26,110 students and 2,100 educators.

Truth and Action for the Future of Dallas

Please join us for our network meeting where you will hear from Ms. Yulise Reaves Waters, Esq. & Dr. Michael W. Waters about the societal inequities that could cripple the future of Dallas, and how to engage in the only way forward: uniting together to do something radically different than what has been done before.
