As Event Manager, Allyson Weaver ensures U2L events are planned and executed in support of our mission to change lives by transforming the relationship between schools and community.
Allyson Weaver has a Master’s in Organizational Leadership and a Bachelor’s from the University of Texas at Austin. Allyson has worked in operations for a local school network in Dallas, program management for a local nonprofit and AmeriCorps program, and most recently in human resources at a national corporation.
A Dallas native and product of Dallas ISD, Allyson wanted to return to work that energized her and impacted the communities that poured into her during her adolescence. Her internal blaze for equity and justice serves her well at United to Learn. Allyson loves being able to curate events that inspire creativity, nourish and strengthen relationships, challenge minds, and overall recharge and reinvigorate passions for students and schools in Dallas.
In her free time, Allyson enjoys spending time with her husband and baby, serving in the children’s ministry at church, binge-watching the latest tv show, and eating pizza and tacos.
