Alexia Piquet

Program Manager

As Program Manager, Alexia Piquet supports the implementation and effectiveness of programs delivered across our partner schools. Alexia works closely within our Learning Environments pillar.

Alexia Piquet is a recent graduate of the Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City with a B.S. in Political Science and Public Administration. Alexia has had work experience as an intern for the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development in the Partnerships, Marketing, and Fundraising Division for Latin America. As an intern there, she participated in the project I am the Future of Work… Now What? An initiative dedicated to exploring the impact the COVID-19 crisis has had in the world of work for young people. During her last semester of college, she interned for Fuerza Migrante. A bi-national organization that advocates and promotes the economic, social, and political empowerment of new generations of Mexican migrants and Mexican-Americans in the United States.

Education is important to Alexia because she believes that it empowers us with the knowledge, skills, and values needed to build a better world. In her free time, she enjoys traveling as well as going to museums and movies. An interesting fact about Alexia is that she is fluent in English, Spanish, and French.
