Megan Hughet

Chief Advancement Officer

As Chief Advancement Officer, Meghan Hughet oversees the fundraising strategy and methodology for United to Learn through campaigns, events, grant management, corporate partnerships, donor stewardship, and relationship cultivation.

Megan Hughet joined United to Learn as Chief Advancement Officer in 2020. Megan has more than 10 years of experience fundraising for North Texas nonprofits, most recently serving as Director of Institutional Giving at the Nasher Sculpture Center. She joined U2L because she believes that “education is the key to transforming the future of Dallas, starting with our youngest learners.” Megan’s favorite part of her job is bringing people together who care deeply about Dallas education to create an impact that none of us could realize alone.

A fun fact about Megan is that she used to act professionally, once playing Juliet in “Romeo and Juliet” in Bass Hall. In her free time, Megan enjoys cooking and watching college football.
