Christine Lipschitz

Director of Social & Emotional Learning

As Director of Social Emotional Learning, Christine Lipschitz oversees the strategic planning and implementation of social and emotional initiatives on supported U2L campuses. She works in collaboration with field experts and Dallas ISD administration to create tailored solutions that aim to accelerate student achievement and improve educator and student wellbeing.

Christine Lipschitz has served as U2L Director of SEL since November 2019. Previously, Christine served as a Fulbright Fellow, bilingual science teacher, assistant principal, and as a principal for six years. Christine brought her passion for creating and sustaining positive school cultures through teacher and leadership development to our SEL pillar and created a number of new programs to increase the scope and impact of our work, including the SEL Fellows teacher leadership program, Leader Collaborative, U2L created training, cultural competency training and book studies, and school-based SEL consultancies.

Christine is a proud Dallas ISD alumna and enjoys her work because she wants her children, and all Dallas children, to have access to a wonderful education through our Dallas public schools to make Dallas a stronger and united city! Outside of work, Christine is a proud parent of two sweet young children, and in her free time, she loves to take hiking and camping trips with her family.
