Annual Commit! Scorecard

Commit! Scorecard: Progress Made, Challenges Remain

In March 2017, hundreds of community members gathered for the launch of the annual Commit! Scorecard to recognize the collective student progress made, and to rally in support of the challenges that remain. Commit! shared data showing that more than 23,000 additional students achieved on grade level this year since 2012, and the district enrollment in Pre-K programs is growing steadily.  At the same time, the divisions of poverty continue to grow, and the city faces significant challenges. Just 14% of our high school seniors are graduating with college-ready skills. As an action network of Commit!, our United to Learn team was excited to attend the event and utilize the data presented in the Scorecard to inform our efforts into the 2017-2018 school year.
